Five stars for the Chester Grosvenor

We are delighted to have completed the supply and installation of a new main kitchen facility at one of the North West’s best known five star hotels, the Chester Grosvenor Hotel & Spa.

Working alongside the hotel’s senior management and FCSI member Tim Dunn Design, C&C’s Director Ian Berrow and the C&C installation team, helped complete the project in just 2 months. The complete strip-out and re-fit took place in both the kitchen and La Brasserie restaurant whilst the hotel remained open – other than for a two week period at the start of the New Year.

As with many projects on existing, historic sites (the hotel was built in 1865), access was extremely limited; on this project everything had to be taken in and out through a second story window that could only be used for two short periods during the day.

Once inside the team had to move internal walls to allow a range of equipment from Meiko, Charvet, Josper and others to reach their final destination.
